 our business success was ok we a bit of profit because  we got a descent amount of money for our business from the people that just had money and we were like a last minute group and i think that all the carnival groups were but that was ok because we made a decent amount of money.

the thing that I would change is the activity to like selling food because that was a big hit and that were everyone was going mostly and that were the money maker and that's why i would change to selling food and products like that.

How honey is made

 we wrote and explanation writing Hope you enjoy my story 

How did bees make honey?

In fact, 1 kg. of honey=1.00 of bees fly 75.000 miles, and they eat up to 8.000.00 flowers.

Firstly when bees find a flower they shove  their head in and use their tongue, Suck the nectar out of the flower in to A  

special, Stomach then they go back to the hive and vomit into other bee workers mouths until it is like a watery 

substance and put it into a honeycomb and then proceed to put wax over it after the bees use their wings to cool it down.

Secondly Then a farmer comes along and uses a smoker and then uses J tool to pull out the frames and puts them in to a bucket and waits a couple months then gets a strainer  and a tin bucket and scraps all the honey on the strainer and lets it sit there overnight to all the golden honey and all the wax is on the strainer.

Finaly then the farmer contains it and puts some on his shelf and if he has a shop or he has friends with a honey business he can sell it and can get money for more equipment to carry on with his beehive business.

I like honey on my toast

What We Did:  We read about the 2011 christchurch earthquakes and how it ahad affected people in the community    We read to learn more about what happened
What I Learned:  How big the 2011 earthquakes and how much it damage the community  That all the art around christchurch were painted by the community and what some of the painting meant to them
My Favourite Part: Watching a video about the how the earthquakes started by small one then there was the 7.1 then the 6.3   And seeing how the community was showing respect.
My Next Steps: To go more endeepth into the 2011 earthquakes

I rode through the deep sea to find a place to live as my previous home was too dangerous to live in. As I was going under the sea, I saw a green beautiful giant island.Next, I jumped off a whale, only to see that my people were already there. They greeted me in the place they called Aotearoa.

My people took me around the place showing me which was my family's pa. There was a fire marea and little huts that the warriors slept in. I went to my whale and I saw a couple of people looking out to the ocean. My whale came up saying, 

‘Hello’ as he was excited to see me.

Next I took my whale out for a ride and the people were amazed that I could ride a whale and congratulated me when I got back onto the shore. People came up to me cheering and these two men asked if they could have a ride. I quickly said  no as I overheard that they wanted to eat a whale and one of the men said, ‘Let's eat the whale that I was riding. I walked off worrying about my whale.I told my whale to go as far away as he could.  

As I go to sleep I worry about how my whale is going but I knew I was going to my whale again. It was 2am in the morning i ran to the sea and called my whale to come and get me so i can take the whale for a ride, `

                 so the way that I have done this is that I put the 1s together aka 3 4  and that made 7 then I put that under the line the I ad the 10s which is  3 and the 5 and that made 8. next Put it next to the  7. Last I put the 5 and the 1 together and that made 6 Next you put it all together and then you get you 687 as your final answer.

chocolate cookies

• On Wednesday.
• we made chocolate chip cookies
• First, we cut Butter into the little square (easy to stir)
• Then we put the butter into a boil and use the wooden spoon to stir until the butter is fluffy. ( put on top of the hot water is easier, but don’t leave on the hot water for a long time, because it will melt )

 

• After that, we put White Sugar into the same boil, and keep stirring it until the white sugar is gone,
• Then we put tow teaspoon of Vanilla into the same boil as well and keep stirring until the vanilla is mixed with the butter.
• Then we get baking powder and flour and put them on to a sieve, and shake into a clear boil.
• Then we put baking powder and flour into the boil that has all the materials and stirring them, until the flour and the baking powder are mixed with other materials.
• Then we put chocolate chips into the boil and stirring them together, make sure that they are mixed together.
• At last, we use our hands to knead into balls. ( because we don’t have enough time so we stop right there, and we make the cookies today)
• On Thursday
• First, we turn on the oven fan bake 170 degrees
• Then we put two pieces of baking paper two baking trays.
• my group has 4 people, so we cut our dough into half, half per pair, our dough is 760g, so we get 380g per pair
• Then we make 8 balls for each person and we put them on the baking tray (16 balls on one tray).
• Then we put in the oven for 9 minutes. (one is on the top one is below)
• After 9 minutes we get the top tray out and put on a wooden board, and let that cold down for 30seconds or 1 minute.
• Then we move the second one on the top, for another 3-4 minutes.
• when the first tray is could down we put them on the cake coolers
• then we did the same with the other tray.

It tastes really sweet the texture was really soft but some were hard when i got home they melted in my mouth when i reheated them in the microwave and all round they some of the most best cookies that I have cooked ever before and i hope to make these again
