hurumanu greenhouse effect

AIM: TO LOOK AT CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT.

    THE GREENHOUSE GASES EXPLAINED.

    The Greenhouse Effect experiment

    Materials

    1. 1 plastic bottle
    2. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda and Citric Acid
    3. 1 heat lamp
    4. 1 Thermometer
    5. 100 ml water
    6. 1 rubber bung

    Procedure

step 1 collect 2 bottles,2 lamp and 2 thermometers from the teacher.

step 2 set up bottles and lamps beside a power point on a flat surface

step 3 pour 100ml water and baking soda mixture into one of the bottles

step 4 start to record your findings taken from both thermometers these must be every five minutes.

    1. Add 100 mL of water to each of the beakers.
    2. Prepare your lamps. Set them up next to each other with the necks angled so they will just fit over the tops of the bottles. Turn them on so they are ready.
    3. Add Baking Soda mix to one of the beakers, and immediately cover both beakers with cling a rubber bung and thermometer. A tight seal around the edge will work best, and make sure thermometers are left visible so you can record the temperature.
    4. Have students record the starting temperature – it should be the same in both beakers.
    5. Turn the bottles so the thermometer is visible.
    6. Record the temperature in both beakers every 5 minutes for 45 minutes or until the temperatures stabilize. At the end, have students answer questions at the bottom of their data sheets.

    hurumanu water cycle

    hello
this is our topic for today here are what forms climate change in our world to day
These are parts of climate change. Hurricanes and acid rain, Also precipitation evaporation condensation are all forming climate change in our world. and that make climate change n the world

here is our poster about the water  cycle and can form climate change in our world

    how they work

acid rain form: evaporation is when the sun vaporises the water up in the sky the it forms into a cloud the when fertilser, and toxic  company burn and pollute the air then when it rain the water goes through the polluted air and make acid rain. and that make climate change in the world.

    Maths blog / DLO

Hello today I am going to show what we have been up to this to term. I'm going to tell you what my favourite activity was, what I have learnt, what was one of my challenges that I faced, and what is my goal.

One of my favourite activity was doing page 101 in red book. And what I mostly loved doing was the mathletics booklets they were the most fun ist because I got to learn more strategy that could help me in the future.

I learnt more strategy that helped more when I got stuck on question and that was one of my challenges that I faced when it came to a question that I did not know. And I think that really good because it could help me when I get higher in the school.

My goal: my goal for maths is that I want to learn my 7 times table, my 6 times table and more I think this really good goal because it can help me when I come to a Times tabel question with one of these numbers.

Challenge I faced  the challenged I face was the before we got put on serdent table I found it really hard to work beacuse I got distracted to easy but I did get some work done and my other challenges was that when I came a cross a question that I did not know and when I ask they did not know beacuse I wanted learn this question beacuse it might help me with a question higher up in the school.

    Maths

For the past couple of days we have been solving a maths problem.

We had to use some strategy  to find out the answer

What was the question? We had to find out the answer. To 273 worms and how many sea gulls we can feed in one sitting.

How was it working in a group? Working in a group is easy but it you do run in some complacion like people talking over you and just simple stuff like that but then the group learns and then we can get a long. But at the end of the day I think our group was awesome.

    What  I found challenging.
I found the question challenging because I felt like that I was not at that stage of trying to figure out the three questions.

What strategy we used? We use times table / multiplication

    DLO Maths

L.O  use the colum method for additions question up to 3 didgits.

     Exsample:1
    Add the ones fist
Then put your answer in underneath the question line
Then carry the one to the tens colum
Next if you get a question like this  45+18 add the one then you carry over from the one colum on to the 10s collum.

                                                                     Example question/medium

                                                                                      700
                                                                                     +
                                                                                       330

                                                                     Answers   1030

I hope that you learnt a trick on two and hope this can help you if you are having trouble with this type of maths work please leave a comment tell me if I have made a mistake.
